Britney Sees Her Kids, Still Gorgeous, Still Flashing

Breaking news: Britney Spears, everyone, finally got to see her two tots. She hadn't seen them in almost six weeks, and the last time she saw them, she was holding one of them hostage, so yes, I think it must have been a pretty tense meeting. In fact, now that I mentioned this aspect, it's probably a good time to also mention that the title of my post is woefully inaccurate. It shouldn't be "Britney sees her kids", it should have been something along the lines of "Britney, her dad, her shrink and a whole load of other people see Britney's kids". Yes, that's more like it. But who cares about such details, right? The really remarkable fact is that three weeks into Jamie Spears being appointed his troubled daughter's conservator, he managed to get her a deal and get her closer to her sons. Which I feel is quite an achievement, given Britney's completely crazy life since the beginning of the new year.

The question of whether Britney really wanted to see her kids is another issue altogether. I for one think that the relationship between Britney and her two boys really needs to be carefully considered, because I think there's some heavy bridge building needed to be done there. But things probably need to be taken one step at a time. "After lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement Friday, the pop star saw her children Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, for the first time since Jan. 3. The boys left Federline’s Tarzana house Saturday morning [...] and were driven by Federline’s bodyguard to Spears’s Studio City home. [...] After a three-hour stay, Spears’s sons left again in the back of Federline’s grey Dodge truck driven by his bodyguard", reports People magazine.

It's good to know the visit went as planned, and it's even better to see that Kevin Federline is working hard to get rid of the "douchebag" stamp he had written all over him a couple of years back. It's nice to see he didn't oppose Brit Brit seeing the boys, although – to be perfectly honest – I think any dad in his situation would have taken a long hard time to consider if allowing Britney access to the boys was a wise thing to do. "The real hero was [Spears’s father] Jamie. He has taken charge, and she has visitation again", a source stated for People. As I was saying, I think Jamie Spears is doing a relatively good job keeping his daughter in check. He doesn't seem to have any say in her choice of clothes, though – because when Britney stepped out for some diner the same day she saw her kids, she was looking her gorgeous self, with her derrière again almost hanging out of her dress. Baby steps, that's the key...
