Usually, when you hear about someone in Hollywood getting a star, you think of the famous 'Walk of Fame'. But Britney Spears is more than that and, hell, she doesn't care if no one wants to give her that star because she can buy herself one... at a tattoo parlor.

Britney and her kid sister Jamie Lynn (15 years old) visited together the Los Angeles Devil Doll Tattoo Parlor, where the singer had a little black star inked on her right hand. Although very enthusiastic upon entering, Brit Brit became very nervous when she saw that tattoo artist preparing his needles.

And the needle wasn't her biggest problem. The disheveled-looking singer (with her hair extensions all curled up and dirty looking) faced a very serious threat in a bra strap that refused to stay put. Finally, she managed to make it work, 'cause God knows she wouldn't want a flashing incident to take place. No, that's not in her character... at all!

In the end (returning to the needle now), she finally managed to muster enough courage as to bravely face the challenge ahead of her and she quietly endured the pain the new tattoo meant. When she came out, a crowd of paparazzi were waiting for her at the door and she seemed more than OK: the pop star, with her brand new tattooed star, smiled, chattered happily and waived at the photographers.


The black star is just another of Britney's many tattoos which include, this far, a fairy on her lower back, a Hebrew symbol on her neck, a butterfly and a vine on her foot, another symbol (Japanese this time) on her bikini line and a pink dice on her left wrist (matched with the blue dice her former K-Fed had on his forearm).
