Britney Is a Hooker in Her New Video

For some reason or another, it's becoming increasingly harder to take Britney Spears seriously. Today is just one of those days and the reason for that is probably to be found in yesterday's little incident with the dip in the ocean. You know, when Britney took her clothes off and went into the water in her underwear, screamed her lungs out because the water was so cold (probably also damaged the flora a lil' bit) and then jumped back in the car and drove home, all the time with an entire army of paparazzi hot on her heels...

Ever since the week before last, there has been this rumor floating around on the Internet about the former teen idol releasing a new single. As you might have heard, no such thing happened, regardless of how much we wanted it to. But here's something to bring hope back into our cold black hearts: Britney is recording a video for her single 'Get Back' (which is the same as the one she was supposed to release, according to sources on the inside)... as we speak!

These are shots taken on the set of her video, as Brit was taking a break to have her make-up and weave fixed a little. The scene for which she dressed in such an... er... unusual way took place in a warehouse, where she was accompanied by her dancers, the same ones with which she embarked on that mini US tour a couple of months back. And, get this!, word on the street (so to speak) is that she's doing the vid without a choreographer! Allegedly, Britney ditched all the members of her former team (including publicist, business manager and other parties involved), her plan being to take over the world again on her own. That takes courage!

And, speaking of courage, her outfit also deserves our appreciation, not necessarily because it's that daring (c'mon!, there's plenty of other singers who also sported the sexy/trashy widow look) but more on account of the fact that her body is far from what it used to be. Instead of sending a message like 'Look how sexy I am! In your face!', it's more like 'Y'all, I'm so desperate I would even shoot a scene in hooker getup!'. Oh, did I just type that out loud? Must be the jealousy in me talking...

Anyways. I'm sure Brit Brit will find herself a team of experts to airbrush all that extra poundage she has on. The video will rock (as did every one she has ever made) and I can't wait to see it! If you're feelin' me, stay tuned here for more details and a probable release date.
