Britney Goes to the Game, Looks Like Herself Again

Britney Spears going to a Lakers game, looking all normal and stuff is like a breath of fresh air, if we were to consider the way she looked before going into rehab. This is how what once would have been just a regular night out has become to be regarded as an extraordinary event, of the type 'BREAKING: Britney Spears, NOT drunk, NOT looking like a mess, NOT showing privates'.

Getting back to what we were saying, Britney is celebrating her new-found status of recovering addict and still wealthy celebrity with a string of outings with her friends. On Saturday, I was telling you that the first thing she did the night she became a woman free of K-Fed and still with her millions intact was to head out to a posh restaurant/club, accompanied by her friends . Sporting new teeth (she had them whitened), new eyes (she has grown extremely fond of blue eye contacts lately) and a new wig, Britney stayed out for only about 30 minutes, then got into her car and headed straight home. Presumably, to her children.

Last night was a more special occasion: Britney and one of her friends went to a Lakers game. I suppose I don't have to tell you what kind of commotion her mere presence caused there but, for once, Britney did not seem to mind that all the people there were staring right at her and some even pointing at her with their hands.

Unlike last year, in December, when the crowd started to boo the moment Britney's face came up on the big screen and she had to take her sister and leave before halftime, this time around things were completely different. The pop star smiled and seemed really happy and various media outlets report that she even took the time to sign a couple of autographs.

What more can we say: love the new Britney (smile and eyes included - minus that old man's coat)! Plus, bitching about her messy look was becoming a tad tiresome so a change in this direction is always most welcome... Keep you posted with more.
