The last 24 hours in the life of Britney Spears have been not exactly what you would call 'normal'. She checked out of the Promises center in Malibu without notice (her parents had to find out about it from the media), she lost her children (who are now in the care of Kevin Federline AND Lynn Spears, her mother), she visited a prestigious criminal defense attorney, she went to see her children and was not let in the house and she beat the crap out of a paparazzo... and his innocent car.

Yesterday, rumor had it the Kevin was taking care of the two children, after he had reconciled with his soon to be former mother-in-law. Today, the rumor was confirmed - various media outlets report that, after her legal visit, Britney headed to K-Fed's house, where she repeatedly tried to get in. Despite knocking a couple of times and then using the intercom, she received no answer. Many say that Kevin was inside the house with the children but refused to buzz her in because he was scared of what she might have done in front of the two children.

Afterwards, full of rage and desperation, Britney headed towards her car and got in. Because the paparazzi were tailing and obviously annoying her, her assistant pulled over at a gas station, when the former teen star got out, armed with an umbrella. She headed straight to the nearest paparazzo, hit him with her 'weapon' and then launched a bitter attack on his car, all the while shouting 'F**k you! F**k yourself!'. The moment she calmed herself down, she took her now broken umbrella, mounted the car again and sped off.

The photographer was left with a bruise and a bright red mark on his back, where the umbrella had hit him. The vehicle, on the other side, was not that lucky: Britney's rage almost broke the side window pane. Also, there were many marks visible on the car itself. Fortunately, the victim in question (the photographer, not the car) said that he wasn't considering pressing charges for assault and destruction of personal property because 'we love Britney Spears'. A couple of hours later, the singer was back in rehab, presumably at the Promises center again. The third admission is not due to some logic that Britney made of her actions and current situation, but to the fact that Kevin told her that, were she not to seek help immediately, he would go to court 'seeking orders allowing him unquestioned full custody of the children'. The court hearing he asked for today was canceled in the light of Britney's recent rehab visit.

While she completes the minimum (30 to 40 days) treatment, the children will be sought after by Federline and Britney's mother. Jamie Spears, her father, told the media this morning that 'she is a sick little girl... we're just trying to take care of her and other than that I have no comment'.
