While we, the regular people, and the paparazzi were more than interested (to say the least) when Britney Spears flashed her vagina on several occasions to the cameras, it seems that the effects of her 'adventures' are beginning to show. And, by that, we mean other consequences than her topping all the top 10 worst charts.
According to media reports, Britney had her people contact NFL Network for the Super Bowl ad which, by the way, is something every celebrity out there struggles to get into, only to be turned down in the most unceremonious manner conceivable. The reason for the cold shoulder: why, of course, her pantyless antics!
The 'Daily News' reports that the pop tart was more than willing to appear in the all-stars Super Bowl ad, meant to promote NFL. Among the stars already on board are Martha Stewart, L.L. Cool J and... Paris Hilton! Strike one for the naughty heiress (you know, the two girls are no longer friends and there's an alleged feud raging on between them)!
Britney saw the ad as a perfect opportunity to mend her ways and to clean up her image. It's a shame then that the NFL learned the lesson, the hard way with the Janet Jackson 'wardrobe malfunction', for which it was fined $550,000 and which still constitutes the reason of a legal battle between the network and the FCC. So, the big shots decided to proceed with caution from now on and, while Britney would be in no danger of showing her vagina again in the ad, they just didn't want to be tied to such a huge scandal.
'She's too much of a trainwreck. Besides, we already have Paris Hilton', a network spokesperson is quoted as saying. And guess what? 'Janet Reno and David Beckham are also on the list. Larry David said he might do it. Also, we're trying to get Predator, from the movie'. So, they would have Predator and not Brit Brit? Man, that's cold!
