Everybody is raging about how Brit Brit and her mummy Lynn Spears reunited over the weekend and perhaps some of us have even pictured in our imagination how things worked. Yet, if you were among those who had a vision of a tearful and tear-stricken Brit throwing herself into her loving momma's arms, and then giving her a tour of the house and surrendering all the booze, pills and drugs to her before checking into rehab, I'm afraid to disappoint you, but it's not quite so.

I mean yes, it's a fact that Brit's mother and her younger sister flew in to Los Angeles and went to one, and then to the other house owned by the walking disaster that is Brit Brit - but for the moment, that's all we know.

I mean, we don't even know if mother and daughter met. You all know how Brit has been having fun lately checking in and out of hotels, playing hide and seek with the paparazzi and staging up photo shoots with them at gas stations and so on. Oh, and I forgot to mention - but perhaps you already knew - that all this was happening while K-Fed was in court, fighting for his kids.

[IMG=2]Anyway, with such a crazy behavior (well, not crazy as in simply erratic, but crazy as in unpredictable and possibly dangerous - there were some rumors going around that Brit was doing drugs while cooped up in there) it's hard to imagine how the disgraced pop princess reacted when she met her mother - if that even happened.

Lynne Spears reportedly did come from Kentwood, LA to be with her daughter, Britney, during this "difficult" time. Lynne arrived in L.A. late last night. Lynne and daughter, Jamie Lynne, went to Brit's house around 3 in the morning. The fact is, this impromptu arrival was probably played by ear, in the sense that not even Lynn could be sure Brit would want to see her.

We all know, in fact, that Lynne and Britney had a serious falling out some months ago, when Brit even went as far as to serve her mother with a letter warning her to stay away from her kids. It also doesn't help that Lynne was rumored to have gone team K-Fed for a while, in order to try and get the kids away from her own daughter.

So, in fact, there are plenty of things that went wrong within the Spears family, and I'm not entirely sure if this is the perfect time to patch them up or whether Brit needs a good round of detox first and some serious counseling before facing up to any of her family. I mean, Brit at the moment is nothing but a time bomb, and if handled improperly, it can very easily explode and turn the already existing disaster into an even bigger one. So I'm not sure if I want to hear what happened next - kidding, of course I do, I just hope it will all turn out for the best.
