Let me just start by saying that I don't know if this is true or not (I mean, there's no confirmation yet) but Britney Spears' new single may be out there, on the Internet. Various media outlets found the song, called 'Fed Up' but none of them is able to say exactly if it's Britney the one who's singing it or not.
Now, by the look (better yet, sound) of things, this could be Britney. The voice is similar to hers, although not all the way. Then again, her record company (and she herself) could be more than interested to milk her divorce from Kevin Federline for all that it's worth, so as to write an entire song meant to dis her children's papa.
We're gonna start here from the premise that this is Britney's song and that it's her who's singing it. Some say that it doesn't sound too good because it's just a demo and the record company hasn't finished working on it. Others claim that it's just a girl (definitely not Brit Brit) who thought she could have some fun by fooling people into believing that the pop star has a new single out.
Whichever may be, we are going to assume 'Fed Up' is Britney's. First of all, congrats for that very nicely put lyric that goes something like 'never catch me driving in my underwear' and all the other ones that seem to talk directly to former Mr. Spears, Kevin Federline.
The beat is pretty catchy and it certainly does resemble the 'Toxic' sound we were once used to but, at a certain point it becomes too much, there are too many effects added and too many voices that do nothing else than make the song kinda 'overwhelming'. I don't know. Maybe it's because it's just the demo version.
Below is the full song. Listen to it and make up your mind on your own if that sounds like Brit Brit or not. But let me just tell you this; if this is for real, her album is going to kick some major ass!
