Britney's Dance Beat is a video game developed by Metro Graphics and published by THQ Inc. It was launched in 2002, when Britney Spears' career was at its peak, and debuted on the PlayStation 2 gaming console from Sony, the Game Boy Advance handheld device and PCs. The game is being billed as a music and rhythm title, with the action being observed from a third person perspective.

The plot is pretty shallow. Britney Spears, an international music super star, is holding auditions for dancers who are set to join her on her next tour. There is a variety of dancers that want to take part in the audition and the player can choose any one of them as his avatar.

The audition process focuses on music tracks that made Britney Spears famous, like Oops, I Did It Again, Baby One More Time, I'm A Slave 4 U and more music from the first two albums of the diva. The main objective is to compete well enough not to get fired.

You need to perform successful combos so that you can attack your opponents and take them out of the game. The majority of gameplay is based around a radar type object that spins clockwise. As buttons appear, the player has to press them as the radar passes through. As the game progresses, the player can unlock a variety of videos and music.

The game was mainly used as promotional vehicle for Britney Spears.
