British Man Sues Spammers

Just how often did you wish to have a face-to-face minute with the authors of the dozens of emails flooding your inbox? If only there was any way you could get back at them for wasting your time, money and computer resources! Well, somebody actually got fed up of just sitting around and
doing nothing, found the company that sent him unsolicited emails and sued them. The new European laws now allow junk e-mailers to be sued for sending unwanted e-mails.

Nigel Roberts of the Channel Islands sued Media Logistics UK, which is based in Stirlingshire, England, but the case didn't end with a huge amount of money being paid by the British company. It was all settled for the amount of US$465 in favor of Roberts.

Media Logistics acknowledged all of Roberts claims and did not contest any, and should this case have not been settled out of court, the judge would have most likely ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
