A British company recently posted a job announcement for the “bathtub tester” position. Although the job title might sound tantalizing, those who feel tempted to apply for it must know that it doesn’t involve splashing around in the soapy water or playing with rubber ducks.

The Mirror reports that Bathstore Ltd. is seeking the perfect candidate to fill the Bathroom Executive Officer (BEO) position – “one of the most relaxing jobs on the market,” as the advert says. The company is willing to offer the future employee a 12-month contract and a yearly wage of £6,000 ($10,000 / €7,300), in addition to a stress-free life.

The company will regularly install their new bathtubs into the next BEO's house, so the worker will be able to do his job from the comfort of his home. However, the candidates must take into consideration that the chosen applicant will have to provide written reports and analysis on the overall bathing experience after testing Bathstore’s products.

“We are dedicated to making dream bathrooms easy, from design to installation, and this appointment demonstrates our commitment to deliver quality products and expert advice,” says the chief marketing officer of the company, Claire Bayliss.

Bathstore is a specialist bathroom retailer, the largest in the United Kingdom with over 170 stores nationwide and more than 500 employees.

So far, around 50 people showed their interest in the promising position.
