The Oscar-winner got on the back of a convertible car and was paraded on the streets of Cambridge, Massachusetts, with members of the Hasty Pudding theater troop dressed in drag, as is their habit.
She was cheered on by passers-by and enjoyed some great moments throughout the entire procession, but the highlight of the event has surely got to be the moment that she was asked to twerk on stage, before receiving the award.
It's not every day that you see a serious actress like Helen Mirren, who has portrayed the Queen of Britain on film, drop and grind, but that's exactly what she did, much to the amusement of the crowds.
