Brit Brit Wants More. Give Her More!

The fact is, I'm officially confused. Really - what's going on inside Brit's head right now? It must be the biggest confrontation ever since World War II ended. On the one hand, I'm sure that she was not very much upset to lose her boys and know they are safely with K-Fed for a while. Why should she miss having them around, since they've only been a constant source of trouble for her, what with the press always following her around and screaming about what a negligent mother she is. And then on the other side there are all those people around her who tell her that having the kids around is the most natural thing in the whole wide world.

But the fact is, Britney - or someone in her camp - is trying to clean up her act. I honestly don't care if it's her own initiative or if someone is tying her to a chair and inducing post-hypnotic suggestions into her aggravated brain, I'm just surprised at the fact that she really seems to be trying. Brit Brit reportedly took several drug tests ever since she lost joint custody of the boys and apparently passed them all. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal - but there you are. Brit's a no-druggie for the moment - and I could swear it's not such a bad thing for her. Kidding.

TMZ has learned Britney plans to go to court tomorrow with her lawyers and ask the judge to expand her visitation rights to overnight visits with her kids. And apparently her lawyers have told Brit that it would make her look very good if she actually showed up in court. This is completely insane - I mean, some would consider it's normal and natural for a mother to want to be in court when the fate of her kids is decided, but Brit's apparently quite the exception to that rule. She was however urged by her lawyers to attend the hearing (scheduled for 8:30 AM in downtown Los Angeles) and she agreed.

But don't get too excited - there's always a good chance she'll have something better to do rather than waste time in court. I mean, there are always gas stations to be visited, Mexican food to be eaten and paparazzi to pose for, every hour of the day.

Team K-Fed apparently is not very happy with Brit's decision, and Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, released the following statement in response to the news that Britney is seeking to expand her visitation rights. "The fact that a party, one week after a full court hearing, attempts to change the orders of the court, in the absence of an emergency or without any new facts, suggests a continued lack of respect and understanding for what an order of the court actually means". I would hate to say that he actually has a point - but I think he does. It's a long way to Monday, though - and plenty of time for some more Brit Brit insanity - so stay tuned and hold on to your seats.
