When in trouble, there's nothing like a wedding to help put things back on track

Well, look who's walking down the aisle... again!

I can't remember - didn't I just write an article earlier today about how Britney's latest video, "Piece of Me" was all right and not so much of a disaster, about how Britney had even choreographed her own dance routine for the video and overall started behaving like a professional? That was definitely an article meant to... well, not praise, but at least show some appreciation. I wasn't in fact complaining about too little drama, or asking for more of the same crazy daily circus we used to get over the summer - and not only. But that simply goes to show that it just doesn't pay to ever underestimate Brit Brit - 'cause now apparently she's doing it again.

The latest crazy Britney rumor is that the popwreck is supposedly planning to marry her own personal Howard K. Stern, only friend and alleged personal assistant, Sam Lufti. And it gets better than this - apparently, Britney is so in love with this shady character that she has already announced her intentions to her lawyers and ex hubby K-Fed. Poor lawyers. Imagine having to represent one of the craziest people in Hollywood. What with the whole custody battle still raging, if this marriage rumor turns out to be true, it's going to be one big nightmare from beginning to end.

"Britney is completely under Sam's spell. Everyone sees through him, except her. I hear that he stays with her most of the time, and she pays for his food, his bar and restaurant tabs and his clothing. She takes care of everything. Her lawyers have begged her to at least get a prenup, but she didn't seem to be listening" says a source. And poor K-Fed. Britney's ex husband is said to be absolutely horrified by the prospect of Lufti taking up the role of stepfather to his kids. "Kevin has seen Sam lose his temper. We hear he swears a lot and makes very derogatory statements when he's alone with Brit. Kevin has forbidden Britney from having Sam around the boys. In fact, Kevin has threatened to get a restraining order. She'll lose custody if she allows Sam around them, Kevin will make sure of it" said a family insider.

For about the second or third time in my life, I honestly hope this is just a rumor and that Brit Brit will keep herself out of more trouble. It's absolutely crazy how she manages to find what looks like the most pathetic guys on the planet. No offense to K-Fed, but he was never exactly the most successful or ambitious man out there. However, when put next to this Lufti character, he looks like a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. So, fingers crossed Britney doesn't ruin what's still left to be ruined of her life. But who knows? Anything can happen.
