Workmen accidentally write “Bup Stop” instead of “Bus Stop” on a local road

If you hurry up and book a ticket on the first flight to Bristol, UK, you might just get to snap a photo or two of the world's first (and hopefully last) “bup stop.”

Supposing you're very busy these days and can't afford wasting time traveling to this city, you can always settle for admiring it in all its glory in the photo next to this article.

Legend has it that this “bup stop” came into being when a team of workmen misspelled the word “bus” while trying to mark a new bus stop on a local road.

The bus stop was supposed to be marked as part of repair work carried out in the center of the city. For some reason, the workmen decided that a “bup stop” went better with the local architecture.

According to the Western Daily Press, local high officials have until now refused to comment on this incident. It is to be expected that the workmen's blunder will soon be sorted out.

If they're lucky enough, proud residents of the city of Bristol might soon have the “bup stop” replaced with a “bus stahp.” I don't know about you, but I would love it if that were to happen.
