Bristol Palin's Lifetime reality show “Life's a Tripp,” has already been thrashed by critics and shunned by audiences – and the latest incident is not bound to earn her any viewers for the series.

The video below is a segment that recently aired on the show, showing Bristol's 4-year-old son throwing a tantrum and calling his aunt Willow a “faggot.”

It all started the moment they arrived at the hotel and checked in, with Tripp telling his mother and aunt he didn't want to go to sleep but head instead straight for the pool downstairs, which he'd seen from the window in the room.

Both Bristol and Willow try to reason with him and tell him that he should feel tired after their long journey, but he is clearly determined not to go to sleep.

At one point, Willow warns him that he'll be punished if he doesn't go to his room to sleep, which is when he yells back that he “hates” her.

When Willow pushes him on the sofa to get him to calm down, he responds with “Go away, you faggot.”

Perhaps more telling is the way his mother reacts to such a slur, voices online point out: Bristol simply covers her face and laughs.

Even when she scolds him moments later, she's still barely containing her laughter. By this time, Willow too has joined her in the merriment.

Criticized online for the slur and for not censoring it, a spokesperson for Lifetime says Tripp had actually said the other F-word and not the one people at home thought they'd heard.

“Life's a Tripp showrunner Matt Lutz wrote in to say that Tripp's bleeped expletive was '[expletive' and not 'faggot.' Lutz says that he was in the room at the time, and that he has reviewed the raw footage several times,” Gawker writes.

Later in that same episode, Bristol confides in the camera that “I'm doing a terrible job at disciplining Tripp.”

As some of you might remember, Bristol too had her share of media attention for making a series of remarks verging on homophobic.
