Bristol Palin is about to kickstart her own career in reality programming, after a very successful stint on television with Dancing With the Stars on ABC. BIO has just confirmed a new reality show that will focus on her life.

As it’s already common knowledge, Bristol is no stranger to television, having also appeared in her mother’s reality show, “Alaska.”

This time, though, she will be at the center of attention, as the upcoming series will focus on the move from Alaska to Los Angeles, and trying to make a life there for herself and her son, PopEater reports.

“According to BIO, the currently untitled show will follow Palin as she moves from Alaska to Los Angeles with her baby, Tripp. She goes to work at a small charity and moves in with fellow Dancing With the Stars contestant Kyle Massey and his brother, Christopher,” the e-zine says.

Not only is Bristol amazing in front of the cameras, but she’s also the kind of public figure that attracts a lot of media attention for her personal life.

The latter consideration must have weighed heavily in the balance with the network when greenlighting the new show.

“Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to,” David McKillop, executive vice president of programming, A&E Network and BIO Channel, says, acknowledging the kind of interest Bristol generates with everything she does.

“Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey Brothers,” McKillop says.

For the time being, there’s no official word on the air date of the new show (or a name for it, for that matter) or on whether Bristol is already working on it.

Until said announcement comes, Bristol is writing her memoirs: “Not Afraid of Life” will presumably come out later this year.
