Sarah Palin’s daughters, Bristol and Willow, got in a very nasty war of words on Facebook with a boy who went to school with them and said that Sarah’s reality show, “Alaska,” was bad. Homophobic comments were also made.

Word broke the other day that both girls had ganged up on the boy named Tre, calling him words and saying the only reason he didn’t like the show was because he was gay.

Of course, Bristol sided with her sister in the feud, saying whoever criticized the Palins did so out of spite and, of course, jealousy. Now, she’s apologizing for the rant.

As TMZ can confirm, after their comments sparked quite a raging wave of comments, Bristol has apologized – and even took the time out to thank those who helped her get on the Dancing With the Stars finals by voting for her.

“Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize,” Bristol wrote. Willow’s account has also been taken down in the meantime.

“On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!” she added. She returned hours later to thank her fans once more.

“Thank you supporters who continue to support. The haters are already pulling out all the stops this week to destroy,” Bristol wrote.

As we also informed you yesterday, the feud broke over Tre saying “Sarah Palin’s Alaska, is failing so hard right now” – and nothing else.

“Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I’ve seen pictures of, your disgusting... My sister had a kid and is still hot [sic],” Willow Palin lashed out, admittedly defending her mother, but practically only picking on a kid based on his appearance.

“You’re running your mouth just to talk [expletive],” Bristol chimed in, writing on Tre’s wall. “You’ll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my [backside] off. I’ve been a single mom for the last two years,” she added later to another user, John.

Before deleting her Facebook account, Willow tried to be have the last say on the matter. “Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families success and you guys aren’t goin to go anywhere with your lives,” she wrote.
