Bridge Linux, an Arch derivative distribution that includes a GUI and standard applications, is now at version 2012.5.

According to the developers of Bridge Linux, this is the first distribution of an Arch based Linux that supports UEFI by default. Keep in mind that the 64-bit version supports UEFI.

Highlights of Bridge Linux 2012.5:

· UEFI support has been fixed and the README file has been updated; · The GNOME Screensaver lock issue has been resolved; · A gcc-libs issue has been fixed; · "db not found" errors when running pacman for the first time have been repaired; · sudoers.d has been replace with sudoers; · Mobile broadband provider info has been added; · vbox additions to all editions are now available; · LightDM has been replaced with LXDM in Xfce.
