Last week, the whole world was impressed by the gesture made by a selfless 911 operator helping out a bride on her wedding day.

23-year-old Amanda phoned 911 to report her wedding dress getting stolen on the day she was supposed to have her ceremony.

Not knowing what to do about it, she told the operator about the whole thing. She was sobbing and dispatcher first thought that Amanda's truck had gotten stolen.

Amanda's dress not only costs $6,000 (€4,500), but it was handed down by a cousin and viewed as a family heirloom.

Candice, 28, was recently a bride and said that she knew exactly what Amanda was going through.

“It feels so good she got to have a wedding dress on her wedding day. [...] I’ve been a bride and I know that it’s awesome. I made a new friend today,” she tells ABC News.
