It came as a heavy yet uncertain blow for X-Men fans when Halle Berry, one of the actors who have been with the cast ever since the first movie, was reportedly cut from the latest production due to heavy editing and time constraints.

Last week, when reporting about her rocky marriage, there was some speculation that director Bryan Singer had removed all but one scene which featured Storm, Berry's character in the cinema version of the film.

Today, Digital Spy obtained confirmation from Singer that there was no truth to the myth that Storm wouldn't be featured in “Day of Future Past,” who simply slammed the rumor with a dry “No.”

This wouldn't be the first time an important member of the cast was cut from the screen, as Anna Paquin found out earlier this year that her only scene in the film was edited out and thus left her out of the picture, despite the fact that she still appears in promotional posters.

Berry seemed pretty excited during filming, despite the fact that she was pregnant at the time. “My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge. What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy.”
