Dogfish Head has decided to name this peculiar brew Celest-jewel-ale

Dogfish Head, i.e. a brewing company based in Milton, Delaware, has rolled out a rather unique beer. Long story short, its Celest-jewel-ale, which was supposedly created to celebrate this year's fall equinox, is made with moon dust.

More precisely, its recipe includes genuine lunar meteorites that have been crushed into dust and then added to the brew during fermentation.

Since these meteorites are chiefly made up of minerals and salts, it appears that using them to make beer is quite safe.

According to The Verge, the brewery got the moon meteorites from a company named ILC Dover.

This company is in the business of helping NASA design and develop space suits, hence the fact that it had access to bits and pieces of our planet's satellite.

Needless to say, this beer is limited edition. What's more, it is only sold at Dogfish Head's pub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
