14 DAY TRIAL // Charlie Sheen, once the highest paid actor in television, the man who could afford to blow a fortune on a single night’s worth of heavy partying (scantily clad entertainers included), is now living by fiancée Brett Rossi’s financial counseling because, according to a new report, she is in complete control of his money.
The other day, word got out that the former “Two and a Half Men” star was behind payments to ex-wife Denise Richards in child support. Insiders are saying for Radar Online that this didn’t happen because he forgot or because he didn’t have the cash, but because he was told to do so.
Apparently, Brett, who handles every little aspect of Charlie’s finances these days, thinks that he’s been spending way too much and that he needs to curb his spending habits before it’s too late. She also instructed him to start reducing his expenses by cutting Denise’s child support payments.
We’re almost sure that this isn’t legal and that it will put Sheen in even bigger trouble, but, as per the unnamed insiders, Brett is convinced that this is the way to go about reducing costs.
“Brett has taken control of Charlie’s finances and she thinks he wastes huge amounts of money. She successfully persuaded Charlie to withhold Denise’s child support,” says a spy. Apparently, Charlie didn’t raise a single objection to that because he was already mad with Denise for denying him more time with their daughters.
“Brett is cleaning house in more ways than one. She’s been cracking down on the way Charlie frivolously spends his money and she’s also keen to get him healthy. Charlie’s not someone to usually be bossed around, but he’s so head over heels for Brett and respects her and knows that she just has his best interests at heart,” the insider goes to note.
Well, at least she’s also forcing him to take better care of himself, even though other recent reports indicate the exact opposite of that. We’re referring in particular to what transpired into the press after their Mexican getaway and how Sheen reportedly got so messed up on pills and booze he was willing to pay a man $10,000 (€7,247) in cash, on the spot, to kiss him on the lips.
Radar’s spies go on to describe Rossi, who got her big break in showbiz in the adult segment of entertainment, as “obsessed” with the almighty buck.
“Brett is watching every single dollar that comes in and out. She is obsessed with money. Anything that she perceives as being spent on anything but her is wasteful and wants to stop it,” they explain. Sheen is reportedly thinking of not getting a prenup before marrying her which, any way you look at it, would be the worst idea ever.
