Capcom has released some information on their upcoming Guardians of the Breath of Fire title, currently being developed for mobile devices and PC.

Breath of Fire 6 is targeted at hardcore anime fans, and has been revealed in August this year, during Capcom’s Network Game Conference in Japan. It will be the first installment in the series not to debut on a console, instead being specifically designed for touch-based PCs and mobile devices.

Now, the company has released the first palpable information about the gameplay, as reported by WorldsFactory. It will be a cooperative online role-playing game, with players focusing on rebuilding the village of Dragnir as they see fit, while having the option to travel to other players’ villages in order to help them fend off enemy attacks.

Its controls will be very user friendly and simplistic, while at the same time allowing for the use of quick succession skills with computer-controlled party members in order to create combos during battles.

The characters will be customizable, players having to choose between the human, fairy, feline of grassrunner races, and then pursuing the game’s deep storyline and rich world.

Breath of Fire 6 is set to launch some time during the summer of 2014, in Japan.
