Taylor Lautner spills the beans on Jay Leno, hopes fans won’t mind

Those who found it upsetting that previous “Twilight” installments included too many lines from the original Stephenie Meyer novels will probably be glad to hear that the final installment, “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” will stray from the book right at the end.

Before you go all “say whaaaat?!,” bear with me: Taylor Lautner was recently on Jay Leno, where Leno tried to get him to talk about the ending of the vampire saga, Slash Film reports.

He failed to do so, but he did get confirmation that the ending will be slightly different than in the book, which, if you ask me, isn’t entirely a bad thing.

“[T]here’s a twist, because the ending — I don’t wanna give anything away — is a little different from maybe, what was in the book,” Leno said.

To this, Lautner, who plays wolf Jacob Black in the film, said, “You know, there’s a very thin line because the fans would freak on us if we changed anything too much…I can confirm there is a twist and I can confirm everybody can find out what it is on November 16.”

Let me hear from you in the comments section below: is it a good thing that “Twilight” strays from the book or not? Will you like it less if it does?
