It might have taken him a while, but “Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul has finally gotten around to watching documentary film “Blackfish.” Judging by what he posted on Twitter shortly after seeing it, he was deeply shaken by it.

“Watched the most heartbreaking doc on the enslavement of Orca whales at #SeaWorld on #Netflix,” the actor tweeted. “Everyone should see this. So sad. #Blackfish,” he added.

As previously reported, the documentary tells the tale of the abuses animals kept in captivity at SeaWorld marine parks suffer at the hands of their trainers.

Since its release, the film has sparked wide public protest against SeaWorld. What's more, it has been nominated for an Oscar.

Apart from promoting “Blackfish,” actor Aaron Paul took to Twitter to ask people to help raise funds for the production of another documentary film, i.e. “Extinction Soup” which aims to detail the horrors of the shark finning industry.

“7 days left to help support an amazing cause. Let's fight against shark finning!” the actor tweeted. The message was linked to the official webpage for the Indiegogo campaign intended to raise money for this project.
