The reality star and aspiring model ditched her Amish clothes for a couple of more summery outfits, with hotpants and tiny tops. For those who never watched the show, this is how Kate usually dresses and styles herself.
Speaking with Maxim of landing a modeling gig, she says her upbringing made it somewhat difficult for her at first.
“Before I had even signed a contract with a modeling agency, I did a test shoot to see if I could photograph well, and the first outfit they put me in was a bathing suit! I have to admit it was a little intimidating, but now I enjoy doing it,” Kate explains.
She never dreaded, though, the idea that she’d have to work hard for a couple of weeks to get in shape for the shoot because, she says, Amish women usually have toned bodies because “they work hard and they eat healthy.”
