One 66-year-old Brazilian preaching in more than 30 countries believing he is the reincarnation of Jesus since 1979, meant to save the world from a nuclear threat, attracted hundreds of followers, including a group of highly devoted women that live in his home and care for him.

The man has been preaching the word of God for almost 35 years and has spread the belief that he is the reincarnation of the Lord's son in countries around the world. He gathered hundreds of followers from the Europe, Latin America and the US.

The “reborn Jesus” changed his name into Inri, after the Latin acronym written over the cross of Christ on Calvary, to better describe his connection with divinity. He dresses in religious Jesus-like attire and expresses his strong belief of the unorthodox face of capitalism, abortion and Christmas.

The man refuses to celebrate Christmas and considers that this particular day is a way of the poor being humiliated by the rich. His unique views have landed him in jail several times and also led to his expulsion from several countries including the US, Britain and Venezuela.

Inri has his own church called Suprema Ordem Universal da Santmssima Trindade or SOUST located in Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil which he claims to be the “New Jerusalem.” He has many disciples following his every word and praising him and his beliefs.

Inri's revelation of being the Son of Gob reborn came during a religious fast in Santiago, Chile in 1979, after following a voice speaking in his head from childhood. “I know that there are countless people scattered throughout Brazil and the world whose hearts beat together with mine,” the man claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus says, according to Daily Mail.

Critics have accused him of being mentally ill and he responded by claiming that he may be crazy but not dumb and that madness is the mother of creation. “My mission it to prepare the elect, the survivors of the inevitable nuclear hecatomb that will culminate in the end of this chaotic world, for the formation of the new earthly society, which will strive to fulfill the Creator's will,” Inri tells those doubting his mission.

Inri and his disciples even released a themed song a few years ago, very hippie-like, about the man claiming he is Jesus reborn who will set people free and bring good back to the world.
