A total of 10 domains and subdomains owned by world-renowned car manufacturer Ferrari have been defaced by a Brazilian hacker collective that calls itself the “Red Eye Crew.”

The affected domains are the ones that host the Ferrari forum (forum.ferrari.com), the mobile site (m.ferrari.com), the special car website (speciali.ferrari.com), the newsletter site (newsletter.ferrari.com), the Formula 1 site (formula1.ferrari.com), and a couple of websites dedicated to the new Scuderia singleseater.

HackRead reports that all these sites have been altered to display the Ferrari logo, along with a picture of the company’s famous driver Ayrton Senna da Silva, who died back in 1994 in an accident.

Currently, most of the sites appear to be working properly, but some of them have been taken offline.

Ferrari has recently contracted the services of Kaspersky to secure PCs and production line computers. It’s uncertain if Kaspersky is also in charge of protecting the company’s website.
