14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Silicon Studio and publisher Square Enix have revealed that Bravely Second, the sequel to the highly praised Bravely Default, will be titled Bravely Second: End Layer.
The turn-based tactical role-playing game takes place in the same universe as Bravely Default does, once again sending gamers on an adventure entailing the use of swords and sorcery.
The addition of the new particle is most likely related to an upcoming plot twist, or at least somehow connected with the game's narrative. The original game's full title was Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, and it tied into the game's storyline, more specifically to Airy, the helpful fairy who shows your party where to find the magical crystals.
The cover artwork revealed by Square Enix features Tiz, who is said to be the sole survivor of a great calamity, and who has a celestial being trapped inside him, a being who helps him achieve what others are unable to.

In addition to revealing the upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive role-playing game's full title, Square Enix has also announced that Square Enix Members can upload their Bravely Second save data to receive a set of special costumes for their characters.
The announcement states that players will have until May 31 to get the special costumes, and that more information regarding the specifics of the offer will be revealed at a later date.
The free downloadable costumes will be for Yu, Edea, Magnolia, and Tiz, and will be obtainable by uploading the demo clear save, as InsideGames reports.
Bravely Default: End Layer is scheduled to come out on April 23, 2015, in Japan, exclusively to the 3DS handheld gaming device. For the time being, a western localization has not been announced, but considering the game's popularity and the fact that the first installment got an overseas release, it's most likely in the cards.
