Nintendo has released a gameplay video for their upcoming Nintendo 3DS role-playing game Bravely Default.

Silicon Studio's single player role-playing game makes use of tactical turn-based combat and multi-hit combo moves, and features a job system similar to those in some Final Fantasy titles.

The portable Japanese role-playing game was designed by Square Enix as a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy 4, but based on an entirely new IP that drew inspiration from both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest franchises.

The trailer showcases some of the most prominent features in Bravely Default, such as the unique combat system that allows players to Default, storing combat actions for later use, or to Brave, unleashing multiple attacks at once.

Bravely Default has already been launched in Japan in 2012, and the updated version was launched in Europe in December last year, and it will now make its way to North America on February 7, 2014.
