Artificial Life, a company from Hong Kong providing mobile technology and applications, announced it has signed a licensing deal with Paramount Digital Entertainment, a division of Paramount Pictures Corporation, to release two exclusive mobile games based on the multiple Academy Award winning movie "Braveheart" and the recent box office hit "Shooter". The new titles are scheduled for release globally in early 2008.

"Both the 'Braveheart' and 'Shooter' titles have very distinctive storylines depicting a great tale of good versus evil with strong heroes, which are the classical elements of building exciting action-oriented mobile games", said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life.

As Eberhard Schoneburg stated, the mobile games will belong to the action genre, but will also include real-time strategy elements. Both games will feature advanced 3D graphics engines, swift character movements and advanced gaming physics.

"Artificial Life's focus on quality and history of producing high quality, branded mobile games that deliver a truly enjoyable mobile game experience speaks for itself", said Pradeep Mittur, Vice President for Paramount Pictures Digital's operations across the Asia Pacific region. "Their ability to bring alive the compelling characters and storylines from these two hit titles, will help our fans and gamers experience a thrilling interactive game play."

"Braveheart" is a historical-fantasy action-drama movie that follows events that took place in Scotland in the 13th century. Produced and directed by Mel Gibson, who also starred in the leading role, the film won five times at the 68th edition of Academy Awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director, and has been nominated for an additional five.

Released in March 2007, "Shooter" is an action-conspiracy thriller directed by Antoine Fuqua and featuring Mark Wahlberg as the main character. The movie tells the story of a sniper who, after being framed for murder, must use his military training to clear his name.
