Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer is a video game developed by VIS Entertainment
for the publisher Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. It was released in 2005 and only designed to work on the PlayStation 2 videogame console from Sony. The game is billed as being an action title and it is played from a first person perspective combined with a third person perspective; it also has some platforming elements.

The story in the game is that of Brave, a young Native American boy who lives in the forest. The shaman Grey Bear sees his desire to be a warrior and then prepares an adventure for him by hiding carvings that will grant him new battle skills. While Brave is searching for them, his village is attacked by Wendigo, an evil demonic creature. Of course, only Brave can defeat the monster, but in order to do that, he needs to find shaman Spirit Dancer and discover the mystery of his birth.

There are different environments in the game, with volcanic and ice worlds being the most interesting. The character can jump, duck, climb and make attack moves. The character also gets new abilities, like track creatures, mimic animal sounds and invoke shaman power. You can get health by killing animals or destroying vegetation around you. The eagle feathers in the game allow the player to provide Brave with extra strength. The game features spears, tomahawks and bows.
