Brandy Is Engaged to Music Exec Ryan Press

Singer Brandy may have had the best Christmas vacation ever. On holiday with her beau Ryan Press, a music executive, she is believed to have become engaged, according to reports online.

The rumors go back to a cryptic message Brandy posted on her Instagram account, together with a photo of a heart-shaped rose petal.

“Like a rib, I'm one within you. We're unbreakable, inseparable. #HowHigh,” a caption on the photo read.

You may notice that Brandy didn’t say anything about getting engaged but her fans are lucky because people close to her are more than willing to spill the beans. Off the record, of course.

“Her close friend and her representative confirm to various media outlets that the ‘Boy Is Mine’ hitmaker is engaged to marry her boyfriend, music executive Ryan Press, a year after they went public with their romance,” AceShowbiz writes.

That may be the case, but official confirmation (in the true sense of the word) is still pending.

If true, congratulations are in order.

Brandy and Ryan were first romantically linked last year on New Year’s Eve. This would be her first marriage, as the aforementioned publication also says.

In 2002, she was dating Robert Smith, with various reports saying the two had married in secret. They never attempted to set the record straight on this one while still together.

After they broke up, Smith told the press he only allowed the rumors to persist because Brandy’s team thought it would be bad for her image if they denied them.

She, in return, called the relationship “a spiritual union and true commitment to each other.”

Brandy was also engaged to NBA player Quentin Richardson, but the romance fizzled after over a year.
