14 DAY TRIAL // It's was an eventful weekend for Brandi Glanville who had a serious scare when her 10-year-old son Mason had to be rushed to the emergency room after a serious accident in New York City. The reality star had time to share the news on social media, but failed to notify ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, something which sent LeAnn in a raging fury.
In the end, Mason was OK, thanks to the hard work of the doctors at Mount Sinai St Luke's hospital and a thankful Glanville again took to social Twitter to express her gratitude to them “Just want to thank all the hard working Dr. Nurses & EVERYONE that put up with my crying panicked [expletive] and help save my babes life!”
For this tweet, we can gather that Mason's condition got very serious at some point in the eight hours he spent in total in the emergency room. Brandi didn't specify what the trouble was, but she did share a picture of her son in a hospital bed with an IV drip attached to his arm.
“8 hours in the ER this trip to NYC Mason will never forget! 1st trip in an ambulance! All will be fine,” tweeted the mother when the ordeal was over. However, for Brandi the troubles were just beginning, as a furious LeAnn Rimes took to her social media to blast her for not having the common sense to notify the father of the child, Eddie Cibrian.
“got a text from a friend at 4:30 am asking if mason was ok. THANK GOD! Mason just called Eddie himself!! It's been a panicked morning not knowing anything and mason being all the way across the US. Relived to know he's ok,” said a mad LeAnn.
The issue was that apparently Eddie had Brandi's cell number blocked so that there was no way for her to contact. Rimes explained that Eddie had done this in order to keep Brandi from sending rude messages at all hours of the night “get horrible, evil texts at all hrs of the night and maybe you'd think differently god bless you.”
LeAnn mentioned to her followers that Eddie unblocked her number and tried calling Brandi several times but got no reply and she thinks that this is not OK “My husband need (sic) to be notified. Period,” she fumed.
Eventually, Mason himself got around to calling his dad on his phone, but this was hours after he's spent time in the ER.
This irony of the situation, if it can be called that, is the fact that several years ago, Brandi and LeAnn's roles were reversed in an incident that saw Mason again being ill after ingesting some laxative while staying with Rimes and Cibrian.
At the time, Brandi was furious that they failed to notify her quick enough and blasted the couple on social media and later on TV.
