David Beckham already has his own individual fragrance, Instinct, which became the highest selling men's perfume in 2005. This time around, the spouses have worked together to create the perfect scent for him and her. Intimately will also be their first joint money-making venture.
The Beckhams have been actively involved in the making of the perfumes, from the bottle and its box, to every ingredient contained in them. Football remains David's first priority but he, too, made it a point of accompanying Victoria to packaging factories or to 'offer' his nose as tester.
'It's the first major campaign David and Victoria have ever done together and they both wanted everything to be perfect. Victoria spent months choosing ingredients for her scent, even going to bottle and packaging factories to see what was possible.', a source told the 'Mirror'. Finally they opted for pink and silver for hers perfume and manly brown for his.
Both fragrances are labeled with the now well known DVB sign and are set to hit the market next month. The spouses have the ad campaign ready for Intimately, as they participated in a photo shoot earlier this week. 'They both got involved in every stage and the results are actually very subtle and classy.', the same source said about the finished product (perfume and ad).
