The search giant Google is continuously improving its solutions with some brand new features, today's updates concerning iGoogle and Gmail, the free mail service provided by the Mountain View company. According to blogger Ionut Alex, Google's Personalized Homepage eliminated the 6-tabs limitation that forced the users to add up to 6 instances of their pages. You're now able to use as many tabs as you want as the limitation was removed.

Google's Personalized Homepage was recently renamed to iGoogle, a move that attracted a lot of questions for the search giant. Although we were all demanding a shorter name for the service, iGoogle sounds like it is inspired by Apple, the Cupertino company that owns popular solutions such as iTunes, iMacs and iPods.

Moreover, the search giant added a new function for Gmail, the freeware mail service provided by the company that was recently upgraded to public beta. As you can see, if you attach a PowerPoint file to your email, Gmail now allows you to preview the presentations included in the messages stored in the account. This feature was expected since important evidence of an upcoming Google presentation tool was published on the Internet. Some time ago, the bloggers discovered a document stored on Google's Docs & Spreadsheets that revealed details about an upcoming utility prepared by the search giant, codenamed Presently.

It was rumored that this represents the presentation solution prepared by the Mountain View company, a service that is meant to join the other two products, Docs and Spreadsheets, and form the long-awaited Office suite. It's been a while since the first sign of Presently appeared on the Internet but the search giant's officials refused to comment on the rumors. However, they confirmed a part of the speculations, saying that Presently will be soon available to all the users.
