Casey Affleck will star in Andrew Domink's adaptation of Robert Hansen novel "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" for Warner Bros.

Brad Pitt's Plan B and Ridley and Tony Scot's Scott Free produce, according to ComingSoon.net.

Casey Affleck will play Robert Ford, the youngster who joined James' (Brad Pitt) gang and went from idolizing to resenting the man known as the fastest gun in the West.

Casey, the younger brother of his Good Will Hunting co-star Ben Affleck, will next be seen in DreamWorks Pictures' The Last Kiss, which will be released next year.

Pitt and Affleck have previously co-starred in both "Ocean's Eleven" and "Ocean's Twelve".
