14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, after rumor broke that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, once Hollywood’s most powerful couple, had ended their relationship, even seeing a divorce attorney to make matters easier, word also got out that he was already moving on by purchasing a new home in the Hollywood Hills. Far from being his “bachelor pad” from now on, the new property is actually part of a bigger expansion plan, TMZ has learned.
Reports emerged the other day that the 2-bedroom house was an acquisition Pitt had made in the spur of the moment, when thinking of what to do next to make his separation from longtime partner Angelina Jolie easier. Apparently, buying new property was the only solution viable, because it would not come with memories of her and the life they had together until this past weekend.
As it turns out, this is far from the actual truth. “There have been numerous reports that the home Brad Pitt recently purchased is the smoking gun that he split from Angelina Jolie... and that Brad intends to use the home as a new bachelor pad – but TMZ has learned it’s all BS... The home – located in the Hollywood Hills – is the newest piece of Brad’s master plan to expand the sprawling compound he shares with Angelina and their [6] children. The evidence is clear – first off, Brad purchased the home back in August – long before rumors of a break up began to make the rounds,” TMZ writes.
“Second – the place was a dump and Brad couldn’t move in – even if he wanted to – because the home was far from livable at the time he bought it. But most important – Brad is a real estate PacMan, who’s purchased several properties surrounding his home in an attempt to expand his already sprawling estate. It’s kinda like expanding your kitchen – if your kitchen had 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a view. Brad’s newest home is contiguous with his compound – and perfect for his ever expanding family... a family that still includes Angelina,” the same e-zine goes to say.
In conclusion, Brad Pitt did not buy the house (which also comes complete with its own cave, reports claim) to get away from Angelina and make a fresh start: he did so because he’s expanding his compound and this was a move that had been planned as early as last summer.
