14 DAY TRIAL // Lupita Nyong’o is, without a doubt, the biggest film surprise of the past year, thanks to her superb performance in “12 Years a Slave,” which has already earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Brad Pitt produced the film through his Plan B, with a new report now claiming that he’s totally “smitten” with the actress.
Granted, this comes from The National Enquirer, so you might want to take it with a grain of salt, but insiders reveal that Pitt is completely enamored with the younger actress – so much so that he’s determined to get her into another major movie just so he can star opposite her.
This way, they would be spending more time together without arousing suspicion. Unfortunately for Pitt, if that was really the plan with him from the start, he’s already aroused suspicion with his fiancée Angelina Jolie.
Insiders claim that, after the Producers Guild Awards 2014, where Pitt was basically all over Lupita, he flew to Australia to spend some time with Angelina and the kids. He unwillingly went into a war zone.
“He wasn’t welcomed with open arms. Angelina read him the riot act when he arrived. She told him that he didn’t need to make his ‘crush’ on Lupita so obvious to the entire world. Angie is working her tail off, juggling directing duties and caring for their kids. Meanwhile, Brad is running around on the other side of the globe acting like a carefree bachelor,” says the spy.
“Brad’s fixation with Lupita isn’t sitting well with Angie. Despite his devotion to her and their children, Angelina can’t let go of the nagging worry that Brad is on the prowl for the next hot thing to come along in Hollywood,” another source reveals.
Meanwhile, Pitt is reportedly doing everything in his power to get Lupita in a new big-budget movie. He wants to star in it as well, so he’s got his work cut out for him. However, he has already promised her she would be “his next leading lady.”
“If you didn’t know better, you would have thought Brad and Lupita were girlfriend and boyfriend,” says another spy.
