Apart from being considered one of the most handsome men on Earth, a great actor, a philanthropist, an architect, and a family man, there's one more thing that Brad Pitt does and you probably didn't know about: he's into the wine business and he's actually very successful at it, pretty much like in everything else he does.

The actor spoke with Wine Spectator Magazine about the success of his wine brand and got a round of congratulations for the quality of his product. In case you didn't know, Pitt bought the Miraval Estate from Provence, France, back in 2012 along with wife-to-be Angelina Jolie.

The couple set about the wine-making process and their first effort turned out to be a success, and not just because it was associated with their names. Their Cotes de Provence Rose Miraval, which sold for almost thirty dollars a bottle, was ranked 84th on the Wine Spectator's list of Top 100 Wines of 2013.

Just to give you an idea of its success, we're going to tell you that it managed to sell out online in just five hours. That's better than Rolling Stones concert tickets and almost as good as Kanye West sneakers.

In his interview, Brad Pitt credits his success with a careful approach to the wine-making process, as well as diligence and perseverance, “For better or worse, given my compulsive nature, if we are going to be in the wine business, let’s make the best wine we can.”

He added, “I asked the question, ‘Why can’t we make world-class wine in Provence?’ Let’s approach it like a film, and let’s make something we can be proud of and people can enjoy.”

Oh, and in case you're thinking that Brad just slapped his name on the bottle at the end of the production process, you're wrong. He actually took part in turning out a great vintage, which is why he now considers himself a farmer.

“I’m a farmer now. I love learning about the land and which field is most suitable for which grape, the drama of September and October: Are we picking today? Where are the sugar levels? How is the acidity? Is it going to rain? It’s been a schooling for me. In the off months, I enjoy cleaning the forest and walking the land,” the actor bragged.

It just goes to show that Bad Pitt is what we call a Renaissance man and that there's literally nothing he can't do if he puts his mind to it. He's like the man with the golden touch, which might also explain why he managed to bag Angelina Jolie, widely considered one of the most beautiful women in the world.
