Who knew Brad was a such Bieber fan and passing it onto his son?

Justin Bieber's “street cred” may have gone up by a couple of points after it has emerged that none other than famous Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has bought a portrait of the singer for his son, Pax. The 50-year-old, Oscar-nominated actor actually jumped at the occasion to have Justin's face hanging on his wall.

The Daily Star reports that Brad received a portrait by street artist Bambi from her agent and he didn't say no to the gift. According to a source “Pax loves Justin and so Brad thought this would be the perfect gift for him.”

Many parents would have disagreed and would have tried to steer their offspring on the right path, but Brad decided to give in and humor his boy. “Brad loves Bambi’s unique style and this is his third purchase from her. When he found out she’d done a piece with Justin, he knew he’d have to get it for Pax. The Justin artwork is done on a panel of wood and he loves how unique it is,” added the source.

Of course, the portrait is also a jibe taken at the Canadian crooner who has been making a spectacle of himself in the last couple of months. The artist Bambi chose to write the words “Rebel without a clue” under her portrait, mocking the cocky singer who is now trying his hand at hip-hop.

Bieber isn't without dreams of greatness, and he hasn't hesitated to compare himself in the past to great figures before him. The comparison the artist made is fitting, quoting the famous description given to Hollywood icon James Dean after the movie in which he starred “Rebel Without a Cause.”

Some time ago, Justin posted a photo of himself in which he mimicked the late actor, underlining the fact that he too was a rebel, a beautiful soul that would not conform to society's rules. Of course, many see him just as a spoiled brat.

In another post, right after he was released from arrest in Miami when he was caught under the influence, Justin posted a photo with Michael Jackson in a similar pose, hinting that there was a similarity between him and the King of Pop. Again, many were offended by the comparison.

Not that Justin even cares. This weekend he was busy making sure he snapped himself in a photo with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the ring. The photo was captioned “He can't lose, love u champ.”
