14 DAY TRIAL // As sources close to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to deny that the two have called it quits and are taking the necessary steps to continue their lives separately, the British media is telling an entirely different story. Pitt’s mother is preparing to come to his aid but, at the same time, Brad himself is moving out and getting over Angelina by getting his own “bachelor pad,” the Daily Mail claims.
Apparently, though he is still very much in love with the woman with whom he’s shared the past 5 years of his life and who is also the mother of his three children, Brad wants to respect the decision they’ve made, that of breaking up. Obviously, he can’t do so while still living under the same roof with Angelina and, though he owns several properties around the globe, he’s decided to buy a new house in the Hollywood Hills: estimated cost, £700,000.
The main motivation for doing so was, the Mail says, because he wanted a place that did not have Angelina memories about it. “The house oozes character. Brad has had his eye on it for some time but he decided now was the right time to buy because he wanted a place to call his own. He needs somewhere quiet that doesn’t have memories of Angie and where he can be alone and think about what he does next,” the British tab writes.
“Built in 1920 and originally on sale for £1.3million, the property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bar area. The cave is built into the foundations,” the Mail further says. Oddly enough, pictures of the house in question are also available, which would clearly imply that this is an accurate report and not just a rumor. Still, that does not explain why Pitt would buy a new house when he’s having what must surely be a very difficult time in his life, when he already has so many all over the place where he could move almost instantly.
We were also telling you yesterday that, though rumors of the split of the industry’s most powerful couple continue to make the rounds, friends close to Brangelina are vehemently denying all such reports, under the cover of anonymity. If the tabloids are right and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are truly over, an official announcement should come from their rep any day now.
