Hollywood sweethearts Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly getting ready to launch their very own wine line later this year.

What stands to make their wine quite popular amongst greenheads is the fact that, according to information made available to the general public thus far, their beverages will be of the organic type.

Marc Perrin, a French winegrower working closely with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on this project, explains that “We talked a lot and did the first harvest together.”

“They [Brad and Angelina] are very demanding in seeking excellence in the quality and character of their wine,” Marc Perrin went on to argue.

As some would put it, this just goes to show that both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are equally committed to the natural world and to the idea of leading a green-oriented lifestyle. Sources say that the first wine these two celebrities will begin marketing is to be called Miraval. Should this name sound a tad too familiar, this is because the wine gets its name from the 1,000-acre vineyard estate Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own in Southwestern France.

Apparently, organic farming is quite popular amongst the people inhabiting these regions, which was why said couple has decided to also give it a try.

Those toying with the idea of giving Miraval a try need know that the wine will be a 2012 vintage pink rosé, and that the bottled design will be nothing if not elegant.

This pink rosé will be followed shortly by other wines, which are expected to be either white or red.

Should things go as planned, the couple's first wine will hit stores across the United States on March 15. Seeing how said French winegrower helped launch this line of organic beverages, the label will read as follows: “Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.”
