Golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, arguably the most successful in the movie industry, is planning an early retirement. The two are making plans to move to France with Brad’s parents and leave showbiz for a while so that they can focus more on their children, it has emerged.
The Sun claims to have it from very reliable sources that Brad and Angelina will soon be retiring from films because, as their children grow, they want to spend more time with them.
For this purpose, Brad has already started work on their £35million Chateau Miraval estate in Brignoles, France, where he plans to bring his entire family, including his parents, to lead a life away from the spotlight.
Admittedly, he’s a very traditional type of guy and does not want his 6 children growing up without any real connection to one place: hence the decision to settle down in France.
“They don’t want them dragged around the world any longer. Brad is traditional and wants them to put down roots and have friends and go to the same school, rather than constantly moving,” a source says for the British publication.
“The plan is both of them will do voiceover work in a recording studio in the chateau’s grounds. Other than that, they’ll pretty much retire from Hollywood for a while,” adds the spy.
Also for this purpose, Brad and Angelina have decided to fire the 6 nannies now taking care of the kids (each child has a nanny), and have Brad’s parents Jane and Bill move in to help out with raising them.
“The whole family is going to move there as soon as the renovations are done. At the moment they have six nannies – one for each of the kids – and the plan is to get rid of the helpers and rely on Bill and Jane,” says the same spy.
“The annex they will live in is an old building which used to be used as a dovecote. It’s big enough to have a sitting room, kitchen and a couple of bedrooms. It will make a lovely little cottage for them,” the source explains.
The idea to move to France to lead a life as normal as possible for such an A-list couple came from Johnny Depp, who worked with Jolie on “The Tourist,” The Sun claims.
In fact, Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ home is only 40 minutes from the chateau, which means they will practically be neighbors.
