Brad Pitt and George Clooney to Buy Gay Bar

The two pals are teaming up for yet another investment. After starting to develop the "Las Ramblas" casino project, they are to put their hard earned cash into another profitable business: a gay bar.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt and an airplane finance tycoon, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, are to buy one of the best-known gay bars from Laguna Beach. They are planning to turn it into a ritzy restaurant and bed and breakfast.

Mr. Steven F. Udvar-Hazy is chief executive of airplane lessor International Lease Finance Corp.

The three are to buy both the bar, now named "Boom Boom Room", and its adjoining Coast Inn on Pacific Coast Highway.
Clooney and Pitt are planning to develop a full chain of bed and breakfast getaways, which are to bear their names.

Brad Pitt is only one Clooney's friends of whom he is immensely proud.
He had declared: "The thing I'm most proud of in my life is this group of friends".
"It's not some sort of groovy clique. We're real good friends. After 25 years together, there's this incredible ease to it."
