14 DAY TRIAL // We knew this was coming. The iPhone 5 didn’t launch with a bang, so now that the hype is over, the haters are coming out like sharks smelling blood in the water. Problem is, they’re yet to hold one in their hands.
Sure Tim Cook’s presentations may not be all that exciting as Steve Jobs’ keynotes used to be. Sure it looks as if Apple hasn’t been innovating for a few years now, even though Jony Ive does a wonderful job at explaining the painstaking work that went into making this new iOS gem. And, sure enough, the iPhone 5 does look like a taller version of the iPhone launched way back in 2010.
But we’re yet to grasp one and see what it’s all about. The real life tests are waiting to be conducted. So let’s enjoy ourselves (after all, a good dose of humor is always welcome), but also let's remember not to laugh too hard. The iPhone 4S was supposed to be a complete disappointment. And it was anything but.
