Boylston Street Apple Store Grand Opening, Thursday May 15

- Get there early to nab one of those limited edition T-shirts for yourself; 'other surprises' are scheduled, too.

By: Filip Truta, Apple News Editor

Apple is opening a new retail store on Boylston Street, Boston. Like most Apple Store openings, in the case of the Boylston Street Apple Store too, events will feature a T-shirt give-away, and "other surprises," according to the Cupertino-based electronics maker. Free workshops, special events, and live musical performances have also been scheduled for the
weekend.

Just so you know exactly where the store is located, for starters, you will need to find yourself on 815 Boylston Street between Fairfield and Gloucester streets. The Apple Store is located across from the Prudential Shopping Center. It is within walking distance of Fenway Park.

"When the Apple Store, Boylston Street, opens this Thursday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m., it’s sure to be a fan favorite," Apple says on its website. "To celebrate, we’re giving away limited edition T-shirts and other surprises. There’ll be plenty to do this weekend, including free workshops, special events, and live musical performances," Apple adds.

The top floor is dedicated entirely to programs, support, and services. In simpler words, it is the place where you, as a potential customer, can have an Apple Genius give you a One-to-One personal training session. If you have any questions related to more humanly things, like where you can get a glass of water, speak to a Concierge (the guy in the orange shirt). "The Concierge is your guide to the Apple Retail Store and will always point you in the right direction," Apple confidently states.

To find out what’s going on at the Apple Store, Boylston Street, this month and beyond, check out the calendar of events Apple has set up. Interested parties are advised to check back in tonight, after 9:00 p.m., to learn when and how many MacBook Air units will be available at this store. Do share your experience with us, if you happen to drop by the store this Thursday.
