Prepare your wardrobe for serious changes this season, as well as the next

The jeans we've been seeing lately on catwalks and in fashion magazines may be contrastingly different from what we might have been expecting, but that does not mean they’re not refreshing to look at. Those skinny jeans that flatter only the most fortunate of us (mainly the tall and slim women) are to become history now. The hottest trends are pushing forth a new type of denims, with much wider legs and usually called the “the baggy boyfriend jeans.”

Fashion addicts already strolling the streets in these jeans provide quite an interesting sight - the pants are really wide (with a cut that bears a resemblance to the masculine one) and they are meant to be rolled-up just above the ankle, which makes them casual-chic.

No wonder fashionistas like Katie Holmes (the first one spotted wearing baggy jeans), Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller, Lindsay Lohan and others are enthusiastically “endorsing” this new-born trend every time they step out of the house.

Regular girls need not worry about taking risks with this kind of pants either, the only thing that has to be remembered being that the jeans must be matched with something either tight on the body or very feminine. Tees may to be preferred, but you can also try all sorts of shirts – just remember that whatever you'll be putting on must complete and underline the comfy impression set off by the jeans.

The tendencies would also advise that you choose some worn-out, vintage-like denims, like you're not really aware of the fact that you're looking like you've got nothing better to do than loll around.

The same goes for the shoes – as long as you don’t come off as ridiculous, you can go for almost anything that is casual and comfy for your feet, from flip flops to sneakers, or even some high-heels wisely chosen (bad news for the stilettos and the pointed toe fans, though).
