The low-power APU might just start selling earlier than expected

Advanced Micro Devices released, officially, the A10-6700T not too much time ago, but that doesn't mean sales started right away.

They, in fact, did not. That isn't going to last though. Already Japanese stores have begun selling the chip.

That's right, a boxed version of the AMD A10-6700T was found in Japan, and has been listed by Amazon Japan too actually.

For those that need a reminder, the A10-6700T APU is a quad-core Piledriver-based chip with a frequency of 3.5 GHz (Max Turbo Core)

The TDP is of 45W, the socket is FM2, the L2 cache memory is of 4 MB, and the base clock is of 2.5 GHz.

Sales are underway for $175-180 / €175 – €180. For now, though, shipments are restricted to Japan. Not the news I'd have loved to hear, but better than nothing.
